BOTOX® Cosmetic
A wide variety of environmental factors combined with the natural aging process lead to the formation of permanent lines, creases, and wrinkles in the forehead and around the eyes. We offer BOTOX® injections at our convenient Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Portsmouth locations as a way to rectify these signs of time and age.
BOTOX® is a natural, purified protein injected into the targeted area to smooth away lines and wrinkles. By paralyzing the underlying facial muscles, BOTOX® generates significant improvement in the appearance of lines and wrinkles, restoring the skin’s smooth, youthful appearance. BOTOX® is a safe, minimally invasive procedure with results that can last up to four months. There are virtually no side effects or recovery time associated with the procedure, and patients may resume normal activities immediately after receiving BOTOX® injections.
BOTOX® is a widely popular procedure throughout the country. Our physicians have performed thousands of BOTOX® injection procedures at our Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Portsmouth locations over the years. Almost all of our patients who receive these cosmetically enhancing injections are extremely pleased with the natural-looking results.

Eyelid Operations
As the face ages, a person’s eyelids may start to sag and hang over the eyes, giving him or her a permanent expression of fatigue and possibly interfering with the person’s ability to see. Dr. Newsom and Dr. Edmonds perform a variety of eyelid surgeries for our patients in order to improve visual quality and cosmetically enhance the patient’s appearance.
Below are some examples of eyelid treatments offered at our offices:
-
Ectropion repair: rectifies an outwardly turned eyelid, a condition that is most commonly associated with the natural aging process
-
Entropion repair: rectifies an inverted eyelid, which is normally associated with the natural aging process and subsequent weakening of the eyelid muscles
-
Dacryocystorhin: rectifies a blocked tear duct by creating a new drainage system between the upper eyelid (where tear ducts are located) and the nasal passage
-
Revision of upper and lower lids
-
Blepharoplasty: rectifies heavy and droopy eyelids that create a permanent expression of fatigue and impair vision
The doctors at our offices have extensive training in all types of eyelid operations and can treat even the most unusual cases. If you believe you are a candidate for eyelid operations, contact our offices today in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, or Portsmouth to schedule a consultation.
