Dr. Leonard Rappaport

Dr. Leonard Rappaport is an extensively trained board certified ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery methods, as well as the use of lasers, drainage devices and antimetabolites in the surgical treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Rappaport is also an active staff member of the Maryview Medical Center and Harbour View Medical Center.

Dr. Leonard Rappaport studied at some of the most prestigious medical institutions in the country. After receiving his medical degree from George Washington School of Medicine, he completed an internship at the Moutefione Medical Center in New York and a residency at the Mason Institute of Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Determined to further hone his skills, Dr. Rappaport completed a one-year fellowship in glaucoma treatment at the Glaucoma Associates of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr. Rappaport brings a high level of expertise and extensive surgical knowledge to our office.
