Meet Dr. Spadaro

Jane Spadaro, M.D., Pharm.D., is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Tidewater Eye Centers, serving patients in Virginia Beach, VA. She specializes in oculoplastic and orbital surgery.

Dr. Spadaro earned a dual degree PharmD/MD from Rutgers’ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed her residency at Yale School of Medicine, followed by specialized fellowship training in oculoplastic and orbital surgery through the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) in Michigan.

She has authored numerous original papers in various peer-reviewed journals, including Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (OPRS) and Orbit, as well as a book chapter on Thyroid Eye Disease for International Ophthalmology Clinics. She has presented at several meetings, including the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) annual meeting.
Dr. Spadaro is interested in bringing the latest developments in clinical research to patient care. She has worked with global teams in patient critical clinical trials and has participated in clinical research with companies such as Tourmaline, Acelyrin, Immunovant, Lassen, Viridian, Novartis, Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Dr. Spadaro is dedicated to providing exemplary patient care. Her meticulous attention to detail is testament to her commitment to top-quality health services. In her free time, Dr. Spadaro enjoys working out, hiking, pilates, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family.
